Retake Photos Without Losing the Card Record
Summary: Let me re-photograph a card's front/back while keeping its identification, price data, and my manual edits intact.
Problem: If a scan photo comes out blurry, glared, or badly cropped, the only path today is deleting the card and rescanning it. That throws away everything attached to the record — custom price, parallel corrections, notes, the date it was added. So bad photos just stay bad, which matters when I want to use the photos for insurance documentation, condition reference, or sale listings.
Proposed behavior:
A "Retake photo" action on any card that replaces the front or back image only
The new photo does not re-trigger identification or overwrite any user-edited fields (or asks before doing so)
Keep the prior photo in history, since older photos can document condition at a point in time
Why it matters: Photos are the collection's permanent record. Making them repairable without data loss turns Ludex from a scanning tool into a system of record collectors can trust for grading submissions, insurance, and sales.

LOVE THIS IDEA! Sharing with the team. :) We also plan to have nice stock photos of images for your garden variety cards that don’t really need a custom photo.
