Understanding Unexpected Ludex Charges

If you see a Ludex charge you did not expect, one of the situations below is usually the reason. All Ludex subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, so the charge is tied to the Apple ID or Google account used to subscribe.
Your Free Trial Ended
The Lite and Standard plans include a 7-day free trial. When you start a trial, you choose a monthly or yearly plan. If the trial is not canceled before it ends, the plan you chose begins automatically and you are charged for it.
To avoid being charged, cancel at least one day before your trial ends.
You Selected a Yearly Plan
Yearly plans are billed in full at the start of each year, not month by month. If you selected the yearly option when starting your trial or subscription, the full yearly amount is charged when the trial ends or the plan renews.
You Deleted the App but Did Not Cancel
Deleting the Ludex app or your Ludex account does not cancel your subscription. Billing continues until you cancel through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. See How to Manage or Cancel Your Subscription for steps.
Your Cancellation Came After the Renewal Date
Canceling stops future charges, but it does not reverse a renewal that has already been billed. If your plan renewed before you canceled, that charge stands, and your access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
Someone Else Made the Purchase
Subscriptions are charged to the Apple ID or Google account on the device where they were started. If a family member subscribed on a shared device or through a shared family payment method, the charge appears on that account. To prevent this in the future, you can require approval for purchases in your Apple or Google family settings.
How to Check Where You Subscribed
Search your email for a receipt from Apple or Google that mentions Ludex
Check your bank or card statement. Apple charges usually appear as APPLE.COM/BILL, and Google charges usually include GOOGLE
Open your subscriptions on that platform to see your plan, renewal date, and billing history
What to Do Next
To stop future charges, cancel through the platform where you subscribed. See How to Manage or Cancel Your Subscription.
To ask for your money back, submit a refund request to Apple or Google. See How to Request a Refund for Your Ludex Subscription.
Important Notes
Ludex cannot cancel subscriptions or issue refunds. All billing, cancellations, and refund decisions are handled by Apple or Google.
Ludex does not have access to your payment information.
