Web vs. Mobile Feature Comparison

This article explains which features are available in Collection Web Management on the web and which features are currently only available in the Ludex mobile app.

Two Ways To Access Your Ludex Collection

Your Ludex collection is accessible in two places:

  • Collection Web Management - a web browser experience at collections.ludex.com, designed for managing your collection on a larger screen

  • Ludex mobile app - available on iOS and Android, used for scanning cards and accessing all features

Your collection syncs automatically between both platforms. Any cards you scan and save in the Ludex mobile app will appear in Collection Web Management, and any edits you make on the web will reflect in the app.

What Is Available on the Web

The following features are live and available in Collection Web Management today:

  • Viewing your full card collection in List View or Grid View

  • Searching your collection by player name or card name

  • Filtering by Player Name, Series, or Price

  • Sorting by column (Price, Date Added, Year, and more)

  • Customizing and reordering your visible columns

  • Viewing card details, including Ludex Estimate, eBay sold data, and card metadata

  • Editing a card's Parallel, Purchase Price, and Purchase Date

  • Adding Private Notes to individual cards

  • Updating your collection count (quantity) per card

  • Deleting cards from your collection

  • Listing cards for sale on eBay and Walmart (if connected)

  • Managing your Ludex profile and account settings

What Is Only Available on Mobile

The following features are currently only available in the Ludex mobile app and are not yet supported in Collection Web Management:

  • Add Cards - scanning and adding new cards to your collection must be done in the Ludex mobile app

  • Decks - creating and managing card decks

  • Binders - creating and managing binders

These features are coming to the web platform in a future update. When you click the Lists, Decks, or Binders tabs, or the + Add Cards button in Collection Web Management, a Coming Soon to Web message will appear with a QR code you can scan to access these features in the Ludex mobile app.

How To Access Mobile-Only Features

  1. Download the Ludex app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store if you have not already done so.

  2. Sign in using your Ludex account credentials.

  3. Navigate to the feature you need, such as Lists, Decks, Binders, or scanning to add a new card.

Alternatively, when you see the Coming Soon to Web modal in Collection Web Management, scan the QR code displayed on screen to be taken directly to the Ludex mobile app.

Important Notes

  • Collection Web Management requires a Standard or Pro Ludex subscription. The Ludex mobile app is available on all subscription tiers, including Free and Lite.

  • Your collection syncs automatically between the web and mobile platforms. No manual sync is required.

  • Web-based card entry is not yet available. All new cards must be scanned and added using the Ludex mobile app.
