This article walks through how to create a brand new eBay seller account so you can connect it to Ludex and start listing your cards for sale.
Before You Begin
eBay selling through Ludex is currently only available to users in the United States.
You will need a valid US address and a phone number to complete registration.
Payment setup is required before you can list cards through Ludex. You will complete this at the end of the process.
Step 1: Create Your eBay Account
Go to signup.ebay.com to get started. On the registration screen, fill in your:
First and last name
Email address
Password
Alternatively, you can sign up using an existing Google, Apple, or Facebook account by selecting the relevant option at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Add Your Phone Number
eBay will ask you to add a US phone number to verify your account. Enter your number in the field provided and click Continue. eBay will send a 6-digit security code to that number via text message.
Step 3: Enter Your Security Code
Enter the 6-digit security code sent to your phone in the fields provided. If you did not receive the code, you can request a new one after the countdown timer expires.
Step 4: Access Your Selling Overview
Once your account is created, you will be taken to the eBay homepage. To set up your seller account, click My eBay in the top right corner of the page, then select Selling from the drop-down menu.
Step 5: Enter Your Selling Location
eBay will prompt you to confirm where you are selling from. Select United States as your country and enter your street address, then click Continue.
You may be asked to complete a human verification step at this point. Follow the on-screen prompts to proceed.
Step 6: Set Up Payments
You will land on your My eBay Selling Overview page. This is your central dashboard for managing listings, orders, and payments.
Before you can list cards through Ludex, you must set up a payment method on eBay. Click the Payments tab in your Selling Overview and follow the on-screen steps to add your payment details.

Complete Your First eBay Listing Before Using Ludex
This is an important step that many new sellers miss. eBay requires all brand-new accounts to complete at least one listing directly on eBay before they are permitted to list through a third-party app like Ludex.
If you skip this step and attempt to list a card through Ludex first, eBay will block the listing. To avoid this, complete the following before connecting your account to Ludex:
Go to ebay.com and sign in to your new seller account.
Click Sell at the top of the page, or navigate to your Selling Overview and click List an item.
Create and publish at least one listing directly on eBay.
Once your first listing has been published directly on eBay, your account will be cleared to list through Ludex without any issues.
Next Steps: Connect Your eBay Account to Ludex
With your eBay seller account created, payments set up, and your first listing completed, you are ready to connect to Ludex. Follow the relevant guide below depending on how you use Ludex:
Important Notes
